I have just bought an used ipod shuffle 4th generation.
It`s charged by USB 2.0 , but I really do not know what is USB 2.0?
So I searched web for that USB 2.0 and if I have it in my PC....
here is web-juice :
Open the Windows Control Panel , Click on System
The System Windows Properties Appears
Click on the Hardware Tab
Open the Device Manager
Click on the Universal Serial Bus Controllers Folder
If your Device Manager shows an ENHANCED USB Host Controller, the system has High Speed USB (USB 2.0) capability.
Follow these steps, but if you have trouble, check the source. It has screenshots :D
