Windows Server 2003 external drives

After installing Microsoft Windows Server 2003 .

I found when attaching USB hard disk , it shows USB icon but does not mount Disk itself.

Here's how to fix it :

C:\>diskpart
diskpart>automount          
diskpart>automount enable   
diskpart>automount scrub    
diskpart>exit
C:\>exit
