Make Your Custom Ringtone  with  VLC Player

     Launch VLC. Go to "Media" and select "Convert/Save." An "Open Media" screen will load. The "File" tab will be preselected.

     Click "Add" and browse for the input media in the file selection window. Select the item and click "Open."

     Check the "Show More Options" box. Go to the "Start Time" box and edit the start time for the output media.

     Click the "Convert/Save" button. A "Convert" screen will load.

     Click the "Browse" button in the Destination file field. Select a storage location for the output media. Enter a filename for the output media and give it the appropriate file extension of the desired output format. Choose from PS, TS, MPG, OGG, ASF, MP4 and MOV.

     Click "Start" to export the output media. A Streaming window will display the progress of the encoding. When the window closes, the output media will be available in the selected storage location.
